Available Positions
1. Advocacy Coordinator
Help lead our advocacy efforts by engaging with policymakers, organizing campaigns, and supporting legislative changes for mental health reform.
Responsibilities: Advocate for mental health policies at state and national levels, engage with stakeholders, monitor legislation.
Skills Needed: Strong communication, public speaking, and a passion for policy change.
2. Research Analyst
Support our team by researching mental health policies, evaluating current programs, and providing data-driven insights to shape our advocacy.
Responsibilities: Conduct research on mental health systems, analyze data, assist with policy recommendations.
Skills Needed: Strong research, analytical thinking, and data interpretation skills.
3. Event Planner/Coordinator
Organize events, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns that bring attention to mental health policy issues.
Responsibilities: Plan and execute MHPN events, collaborate with vendors, track event logistics.
Skills Needed: Organizational skills, creativity, and experience with event management.
4. Communications Director
Oversee MHPN’s communication strategies, from newsletters to media outreach, to ensure our message is clear, impactful, and consistent.
Responsibilities: Manage internal and external communications, write press releases, develop content for newsletters and websites.
Skills Needed: Strong writing, editing, and media relations experience.
5. Volunteer Coordinator
Build and manage our volunteer network to help MHPN execute its mission through community engagement and direct action.
Responsibilities: Recruit and manage volunteers, coordinate volunteer activities for campaigns and events.
Skills Needed: Strong organizational skills, people management, and communication.
6. Policy Fellow
Work directly with our team to support policy initiatives, engage in direct advocacy, and contribute to developing new policy proposals.
Responsibilities: Draft policy recommendations, attend advocacy meetings, assist in preparing reports.
Skills Needed: Strong writing, research skills, and a keen interest in public policy.
7. Graphic Designer
Design eye-catching visuals to support MHPN’s campaigns, social media presence, and website.
Responsibilities: Create graphics for digital and print media, ensure brand consistency.
Skills Needed: Proficiency in design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), creativity, and attention to detail.
